Taylor Davis & The Outsiders Story

In May of 2018, Brandon Rabi an 18 Year Old Guitar player from Miami, FL drove from Homestead, FL all the way to North Miami FL to see a brand new Singer-Songwriter Taylor James Davis from Indiana, showcase his first solo event at Luna Star Cafe. That meeting would spark a brotherhood that would end up being the foundation of what would become Taylor Davis & The Outsiders.

Three years later, Rabi would again see Davis LIVE at Vacillate Wine Bar in Kendall, FL sparking more conversations about starting a Rock n’ Roll Band in the city during the worst pandemic the world had ever seen. Davis & Rabi began playing together LIVE in October around the city & pretty soon after would begin doing a few local trio gigs with local Soul, Funk, R&B & Hip-Hop Drummer Kalil Bohannon. These gigs would spark the final moves to put the entire band together. Combined with Bass Player & Multi-Instrumentalist Matt Sonata, The Outsiders would begin their first rehearsal as a Four-Piece Rock n’ Roll Band preparing for their first gig at The Anderson for Luis Alberto’s, “Good Vibes Market.”

The band would spend its first three gigs as a four piece before adding Anthony Capo to the band to play keys, finally closing a Five-Piece Band. From that 5 Piece lineup of The Outsiders, the band would go on to play Bar Nancy in Calle Ocho, The Anderson twice including a recording breaking bar night & Diya in Miami Beach, all within the first two months of being a band.

By July of 2021, the band headlined one of Miami’s finest venues, Cerveceria La Tropical with brand new keyboardist Beau Cornelius. In that time gap, Davis & The Outsiders headlined Bar Nancy in Calle Ocho three times, Kill Your Idol in Miami Beach and Monty’s Sunset on Miami Beach.

March 23rd 2022 The Outsiders celebrated its 1 Year Anniversary as a band with the release of their 1st Official Single, “Love Me All Day.” The song is a fun loving melancholy dance tune with a classic guitar solo, a narrative led story & Bass, Piano & Drums spots that you will always remember. The song is available now on all the streaming platforms & the Official Music Video is available on YouTube & over on our Videos Page right here on the website.

By December of 2022, The Outsiders would add a brand new residency at Tin Roof Del Ray Beach & Tin Roof Ft. Lauderdale. The Outsiders also headlined NASCAR WEEKEND at the Hilton Garden Inn for the second year in a row and added current Outsiders Drummer, Cliff Dobson on the kit.

In 2023 The Outsiders headlined John Martin’s St. Patrick’s Festival in Coral Gables for over 6,000 People in the streets of Miami.

The Outsiders performed over 40% of their entire 3 Year workload, in 2023 alone. The Outsiders gigged 35 times from Homestead, FL to Coconut Creek, FL & everything in between & performing to thousands of people from Bars, Restaurants, Festivals, & NASCAR WEEKEND.
